Selected snow course data in Oregon and Utah was analyzed by computer using Log-Pearson Type-3 method for determining percent chance of occurrence. The characteristics of the physical location help interpret the snow frequency data. The generated data can be used to predict expected snow loads, locate potential winter recreation areas and related uses.
