Abstract

A forecast procedure of critical low flow using two parts is presented. The first part for early season forecasting (March 1, April 1, and May 1) uses snow survey data only. The second phase utilizes the peak flow height and date of occurrence as coded days after April first. This information is reported to users as a weekly span such as 'the last week of July' or 'the second week of august'. A location map is exhibited and an array of data is shown in tables with statistical parameters.
