Abstract | An elaborate telemetering system for transmitting hydrographic data along the Columbia river is described. The need of accurate up-to-the-minute streamgage data and water temperatures are explained. Sophisticated electronic equipment is pictured and schematic diagrams are displayed.A discussion by Mr. Norbert Leupold presents further refinements in telemetering devises, showing automation of river flow control equalizers through the sue of electronic computer is depicted and illustrated. |
