Abstract

By virtue of the relatively new science of snow surveying and water supply forecasting, the Western Interstate Snow Survey Conference sent a questionnaire to some 231 offices, engineers, and scientists involved in the study of streamflow from snow melt and related problems. Answers to (6) questions and comments were to be included. I.Field equipment; your preference as to type, style, and material and why. 16 items were listed. II.
